Speed, Agility, & Quickness

Speed: The maximum velocity a player can achieve and maintain.

Agility: The ability to change direction without the loss of balance, strength or body control.

Quickness:
The ability to generate the force needed to accelerate from static to motion in as little time as possible.

Our training addresses these skills together to appropriately modify the players body in order to get the maximum potential ability demonstrated in the given athletic realm.

How often do you run 40 yards in straight line during your sport? Other than track the only sport that comes to mind is perhaps football. However, to get to that break away run the player most definitely had to make a cut somewhere during the play. So why does everyone measure speed by the 40 yard dash? Simply put, it’s the way its always been done. Our system is about throwing away egos and utilizing modern science to produce the most athletic and effective players possible.

It is critical to have an athlete’s body in the appropriate position to enhance coordination.
The programs that have been designed to increase the athletes SAQ (Speed, Agility, and Quickness) address such concepts by using proper skin angles on cuts, as well as the use of perfect arm action during sprints. These are just a few of the fundamental techniques the often overlooked that the Build Solid Training System addresses to produce unparalleled athletic performance.
